i spent most of last week in baltimore, needless to say, not being home and away from all the study material, really affects the progression of your studies… so i should get back to my studies… i did resolved to work some of the exercises in bardon’s intro to hermetics because they seem interesting… and.. to keep working the other ones as well… i also had a quick moment where i realized im not that lost at unlocking the sphere of malkuth…
The empress
•June 11, 2009 • Leave a CommentUhm…i have a feeling i had done this card before… ok… this is of all the cards the most feminine, it is a pregnant woman sitting in a fertile landscape, surrounded by all the flowers and stuff. This card must mean obviously growth, fertility, favorable conditions in creating things and creative endeavors. She has a hand on a shield which i assume was done in an effort to tie her in with the king and to demonstrate their polarity as he has his hand on a sword, yeah…um… c’est ca.

dreams
•June 10, 2009 • Leave a Commentok, i dreamt i worked in a hospital or something like that, and during my working time there came these two ladies with babies suffering from accidents, and for some reason there was a puppy around. Anyway, at one point one of the babies lost his face and underneath it he had a sort of satanic-chucky face. The other baby did likewise and they started terrorizing everyone around until we were all unconscious, the puppy took the babies side and such. I remember i was lying in something unconscious while the babies talked about their satanic-ness and played with the puppy, then i woke up.
I also remember a “Miners” sign made out of pierced vinyl… i was piercing the vinyl, and there was something about a bride too i think… thats it!
Strength.
•June 10, 2009 • Leave a CommentThe card’s strength.
This is honestly one of the easiest cards, or so it seems to me.
It stands for courage and will. “Taming the beast” and facing our fears. It is about imposing your will by gentle and inner strength rather than violent action.
It is a fire card, and it represents the letter “Tet”, is ruled by… duh… leo and it connects geburah and chesed. No wonder we Leo’s are all majestic and such. Oddly enough, Tet respresents a snake
On internships
•June 10, 2009 • Leave a CommentI have… an issue with my internship. I KNOW i am a good candidate to get it, but i also know things are competitive SO, i need an edge, and everything’s fair in business and war… so i’m looking to create a spell/ritual to tilt the balance in my favor, I’m REALLY lost about how to do it, because it isn’t a Jovial ritual, it is more like a… selfish ritual. Which obviously does not fit into any of the qabbalistic spheres… plus, it involves exerting some control over the situation, so i really don’t know how to approach it… i could work it from the elemental perspective… and call the element of earth, or Ghob. To receive the internship, but that still doesn’t quite fix my issue. Given that what i want to do is a very immoral thing that i had never done before.
On my previous experience i have done energizing spells, creativity spells, money spells and peace spells. Really that’s it. Which is weird considering my matron goddess is Hecate… which is incidentally who i asked for this internship last Thurs. ok, uhm… so how to do it…
Bethor.
and as it turns out, he is a Jovial Olympic Spirit… i need to start learning such things.
Dream june 8th
•June 8, 2009 • Leave a CommentI dreamt something very mundane. I remember the details only about how my genetics class for the new semester had a time assigned. I was still wait listed in Immunology.
. C’est ca.
todays card: the fool
•June 8, 2009 • Leave a CommentThe fool is obviously a card of beginnings. The fool in the card has decided to embark on a journey and he did (yaaay) but he is not paying attention to the difficulties he will face, he is walking straight into danger because of his naivety.. or stupidity. There’s a puppy at his feet on my tarot, the puppy is biting his ankle idk if its trying to hurt the fool, or trying to prevent him from falling, in either way, if it is biting him, it goes to show the dangers he is not looking out for. If it is preventing him from falling into the pit, the puppy represents i suppose the higher self which is keeping the fool from danger.
It is funny though, how the fool looks all childish and according to the fairy wicca childish is good, and as such the fool will unavoidably return to his foolish roots but when he does he will have the knowledge and the experience from the journey.
This card is the Aleph and has a value of 1. It connects KThR with ChSD.
Malkuth
•June 7, 2009 • Leave a CommentIn reference to the allegory of the Hebrew word MLKUT:
M=water = Archangel Gabriel? (annunciation)
L=Ox goad (IDK)
K*=Palm of a hand
U*=Nail
Th*= Tau Cross
*KUTh= Crucifixion?
Stalled in malkuth
•June 7, 2009 • Leave a CommentYes, im still in malkuth, i find myself unable to understand it thoroughly or even a bit, the tarot cards don’t dp much, and i dont feel like 1)theres much to do in MLKUTh 2) I’m doing it right. I know there’s something about the cube of dimensions i’m ignoring and may be the key to that is in the sepher yetzirah and the whole “sealed the above with the YVH” or something lik that thing. I’ve read and re read and re read the Mystical Qabalah section on Malkuth and i have almost memorized the correspondences by heart but i don’t understand anything past what is obvious and im left with this feeling that there’s gotta be more to malkuth.
